The Sea Soothes the Soul
The sea it soothes my soul
Worries hit like waves upon the shore And rush back out again- If only they didn’t wash back in.
Scattered debris of life and love
Worries aplenty, send help from above.
God said here is the ocean it shows you how life is fleeting like the tide and clouds
Here’s the help sent from above…sand and wind, waves crashing, birds scratching
Seagulls, pelicans and sandpipers too running to and fro delighting you.
Foot prints in the sand left by birds, dogs and man even some crabs might’ve crossed the span from ocean to sand
To the sea, to the sea.
It’s where I want to be
Healing arrives with the tide, bird calls and blue skies.
Sand, wind, salt and shells
Make you forget momentarily, your living hell
