Couldn’t put out a match let alone a blaze

Keep waiting, and hoping and trusting and more

Looking and searching behind every door

All marked help in someway or other. When opened you wonder what was the bother 

No help is there just more deferred hope  Nope, not kidding this is no joke  

Every spark of hope gets put out right away with crushing weight of reality
